Richmond Hill has a variety of birthday party packages that all have different themes and activities for your guests to enjoy. To check available times or to book a party, use our online party package request form or call 905-771-5504.

Book a Party

All party packages include up to 20 party invitations with a map to your party location. Additional invitations are sold in packets of 10 for $1.89 total.

All prices include HST.

Adventure Party 

What will party guests do?

Guests ages 6+*, will test their skills on the high and low ropes challenge course and climbing wall.

*Children aged 6-7 can only participate on low ropes challenge course and climbing wall. 

Where will the party be?

Adventure parties take place at the Eyer Ropes Challenge Course.

What's included in the cost of a package?

The Adventure Party package costs $252.60 (with tax) and includes:
  • Up to 12 climbers
  • 1.5 hours on the course with our specially-trained staff
  • Additional fee for party room rental

Bonfire Bash Party 

What will party guests do?

Guests ages 6+, will be sitting around a campfire celebrating. A host will build and maintain a fire and run campfire activities and games. Package includes a maximum of 15 guests.

Where will the party be?

Bonfire bash parties are available at Phyllis Rawlinson Park.

What's included in the cost of a package?

Bonfire Bash Party Package costs $234.14 (with tax) and includes:
  • 20 guests, with a maximum of 15 children
  • 90-minute campfire

Cupcake Decorating Party

What will party guests do?

Guests ages 8 to 14, will design their own cupcakes. Guests will decorate two types of cupcakes with icing, sprinkles and other tasty treats.

Where will the party be?

Cupcake Decorating Parties are available at the Bayview Hill Community Centre.

What's included in the cost of a package?

The Cupcake Decorating Party package costs $280.43 (with tax) and includes:
  • Up to 10 participants
  • One hour of decorating cupcakes with a party host, including two different flavours of cupcakes to decorate (3 cupcakes per participant)
  • One-hour use of the party room, unstaffed

Kindergym Party

What will party guests do?

Guests ages 2 to 6, will climb, slide and run around the gym or multipurpose room. Your party includes private use of the gym or multipurpose room with climbers, sliders, balls and other kindergym equipment.

Kindergym parties are available at the following locations:
  • Bayview Hill Community Centre
  • Elgin West Community Centre
  • Oak Ridges Community Centre
  • Rouge Woods Community Centre

What's included in the cost of a package?

Kindergym Party Package A costs $232.57 (with tax) and includes:
  • Up to 40 guests
  • Use of the gym or multipurpose room for one hour
  • Use of the party room for two hours (including the gym time)
Kindergym Party Package B costs $253.09 (with tax) and includes:
  • Up to 60 guests
  • Use of the gym or multipurpose room for two hours (no party room. tables and chairs will be provided)

Skating Party

What will party guests do?

Guests of all ages, will ice skate together at one of Richmond Hill's arenas.

Where will the party be?

Skating Parties are available at the following Richmond Hill arenas:

  • Bond Lake Arena
  • Ed Sackfield Arena
  • Elgin Barrow Arena
  • Tom Graham Arena

What's included in the cost of a package?

Skating Party packages cost $214.65 (with tax) and include:

  • 20 admissions to the scheduled public before your booked party room time (minimum one hour of ice time)
  • 90-minute use of the party room (party room rental time overlaps the public skate time by 30 minutes)
  • Extra admissions can be bought on the day of the party

Private Skating Party Packages 

What will party guests do?

Guests of all ages ice skate together at one of five Richmond Hill arenas.

Where will the party be?

Private Skating Parties are available at the following Richmond Hill arenas:

  • Bond Lake Arena
  • Ed Sackfield Arena
  • Elgin Barrow Arena
  • Elvis Stojko Arena
  • Tom Graham Arena

What's included in the cost of a package?

Private Skating Party packages cost $311.28 (with tax) and include:

  • 50-minutes scheduled ice time
  • 90-minute use of the party room (party room rental time overlaps the skate time by 30 minutes)

Soccer Party

Richmond Green Sport Centre Soccer Party 

What will party guests do?

Guests ages 6 to 14, play soccer indoors. So you can have a party rain or shine.

Where will the party be?

Indoor Soccer Parties are available at the Richmond Green Sports Centre.

What's included in the cost of a package?

The Soccer Party Package costs $273.62 (with tax) and includes:
  • Up to 60 guests
  • One-hour rental of the Richmond Green Indoor Soccer Field
  • Two-hour use of the lounge and kitchen

Richmond Green Sports Dome Soccer Party 

What will party guests do?

Guests ages 6 to 14, play soccer indoors. So you can have a party rain or shine.

Where will the party be?

Indoor Soccer Parties are available at the Richmond Green Sports Dome.

What's included in the cost of a package?

The Sports Dome Soccer Party Package costs $222.78 (with tax) and includes:

  • Up to 30 guests
  • One-hour rental of a quarter of the Richmond Green Sports Dome FIFA sized Field – the quarter field being rented is 165’ (50.3m) x 105’ (64m) in size
  • Two-hour use of the activity room (1 hour of this time overlaps with field time)

Sports of All Sorts Party

What will party guests do?

Guests ages 6 to 14, will have private use of the gym with a variety of team sports equipment, including:
  • Basketball
  • Floor hockey
  • Soccer

Where will the party be?

Sports of All Sorts Parties are available at the following locations:
  • Bayview Hill Community Centre
  • Elgin West Community Centre

The Sports of All Sorts Party Package A costs $232.57 (with tax) and includes:

  • One-hour use of the gym
  • Two-hour use of the party room, starting at the same time as gym use
The Sports of All Sorts Party Package B costs $253.09 (with tax) and includes:
  • Up to 60 guests
  • Two-hour use of the gym (no party room)

Guests of all ages, will swim together at one of Richmond Hill's pool facilities.

Swimming Parties are available at the following pool facilities:

  • Oak Ridges Pool
  • Richvale Pool

What's included in the cost of a package?

Swimming Party packages start at $214.65 (with tax) and include:
  • 20 admissions to the scheduled public Leisure Swim before your booked party room time (minimum one hour of swim time)
  • 90-minute use of the party room (party room rental time overlaps the Leisure Swim time by 30 minutes)
  • Extra admissions can be bought on the day of the party

Victorian Tea Party

What will party guests do?

Guests ages 5 to 12, will enjoy making a calling card, and pot pourri sachet. Learn interesting facts about the Victorian time and proper etiquette for young ladies and gentlemen. Complete your party with a traditional afternoon tea and enjoy finger sandwiches, cookies and a secret "fairy tea".

Where will the party be?

Victorian Tea Parties are held at Richmond Hill's Heritage Centre.

What's included in the cost of a package?

The Victorian Tea Party package costs $364.60 (with tax) and includes:

  • Up to 18 guests (10 children included, $16.46 (with tax) for each additional child, maximum 15 children)
  • One-hour craft time hosted by a skilled instructor
  • Gallery tour
  • A take home craft for each child (potpourri and calling cards)
  • One-hour use of the Gardenview Room
  • Traditional Victorian Tea with finger sandwiches, cookies and secret "fairy tea"

What will party guests do?

Victorian Tea Parties are held at Richmond Hill's Heritage Centre.

The Victorian Parlour Party package costs $231.93 (with tax) and includes:

  • Up to 18 guests (10 children included, $9.60 (with tax) for each additional child, maximum 15 children)
  • One-hour craft time hosted by a skilled instructor
  • Gallery tour
  • A take home craft for each child (potpourri and calling cards)
  • One-hour use of the Gardenview Room, unstaffed for party celebrations 

Video Game Party

What will party guests do?

Guests ages 8 to 14, will enjoy playing the latest games for Xbox One and Playstation 4. You can book a casual play party or a tournament-style party. All games are child and family rated games.

Where will the party be?

Video Game Parties take place at the Bayview Hill Community Centre.

What's included in the cost of a package?

The Video Game Party package costs $211.87 (with tax) and includes:
  • Up to 10 participants
  • One hour with a party host organizing game tournaments
  • One hour use of the party room, unstaffed

Wave Pool Party

What will party guests do? 

Guests of all ages can enjoy splashing through big waves, shooting some hoops or relaxing in the warm water.

Richmond Hill's Wave Pool is located at:

What's included in the cost of a package?

Wave Pool Party packages cost $302.84 (with tax) and include:

  • Two and a half hours of party room use during a schedule wave swim
  • Up to 20 admissions to the scheduled wave swim
  • Extra admissions can be bought on the day of the party

Tuesday Night Special (beginning Fall 2024): Wave Swim Party Package, $208.41 (with tax), room time 6:15 - 9 p.m., swim time 6:45 - 8 p.m.

Adult supervision

Adults (16 years of age and older) are required to supervise kids at swimming parties. Below are the rules for adult supervision:

  • In-water adult supervision for children five years old and younger (maximum two children per adult)
  • In-water adult supervision for children six to nine years old (maximum four children per adult)
  • On-deck adult supervision for children 10 to 15 years of age (maximum 8 children per adult)
  • Supervising adults must be on deck in bathing attire and ready to assist children at all times

To minimize single-use plastics in City facilities, party organizers and guests are encouraged to replace single-use items with reusable alternatives whenever possible.

Below are the frequently asked questions about Richmond Hill's birthday party packages.

Can I book a swimming pool or ice arena for a private party? 

Yes, you can book private parties at a Richmond Hill pool facility or ice arena.

Call the pool facility directly to book a private swimming party. The front desk staff will tell you about the facility's availability and pricing.

Complete a Facility Rental Permit Request to book a private party at one of Richmond Hill's arenas.

Do I need parents to go into the pool for a Swimming Party package? 

All children under the age of 10 must be accompanied in the water by a parent or guardian who is at least 16 years old. Parent supervision is needed even if there are lifeguards on duty.

Can I book additional time in the gym or party room?

Yes, you can book additional time in the gym or party room. View our facility rental information for costs of additional time.

Do all the party packages include a party host or hostess?

Not all party packages include a host or hostess. You can find out if your party package includes a host or hostess by viewing the party package details.

Can I decorate the party room?

Yes, you can decorate the party room you rent. You will have 15 minutes of free set-up time before your scheduled rental. You are allowed to decorate the walls of the room but you are not allowed to use staples, nails or tacks.

Who cleans up after the party?

You are responsible to clean up the room after your party. You need to make sure that all rented facilities and properties are left in the same clean and organized condition as when you arrived.

Can I have an outside company come to the party for entertainment or other event purposes?

Yes, you can hire an outside company to entertain at your party. Richmond Hill staff must first approve any outside equipment you bring.
